--add_phrase_table
Switch
--add_phrase_table
Description
Adds constituent and phrase feature tables, extracted from a Stanford Parser constituency-parse table (built by --add_parses).
Argument and Default Value
No argument. Boolean switch, default: False. Can be combined with --sqrt/--anscombe.
Details
Requires a <message_table>_const (parse) table to already exist, built by --add_parses, which itself requires an external Stanford Parser installation (see the Install Stanford Parser section in Installation) — not something installable via pip.
Known issue — also MySQL-only regardless of the above. FeatureExtractor.addPhraseTable() checks for the parse table via mm.tableExists(...), a raw mysqlmethods call. Verified: fails immediately with sqlite3.OperationalError: near "show": syntax error under a SQLite corpus, before even reaching the "parse table missing" check.
Other Switches
Required Switches:
--add_parses (must be run first)
Example Commands
Requires MySQL and a prior --add_parses run — not runnable against the packaged SQLite dla_tutorial dataset:
dlatkInterface.py -d dla_tutorial -t msgs -c user_id --add_parses
dlatkInterface.py -d dla_tutorial -t msgs -c user_id --add_phrase_table
