--topic_lex_method METHOD

Description

Method used to build a topic lexicon from a topic file via --add_topiclex_from_topicfile.

Argument and Default Value

Must be one of "csv_lik" or "standard". Default: "csv_lik" (dlac.DEF_TOPIC_LEX_METHOD).

Details

Passed straight through to FeatureExtractor.addTopicLexFromTopicFile(topicfile, topiclexicon, topiclexmethod, threshold), which branches on this string to pick the topic-file parser. No validation is done on the value itself, so a typo silently falls through to the "csv_lik"-style branch rather than raising an error.

Note: --add_topiclex_from_topicfile (the switch that actually consumes this value) is currently broken for an unrelated reason — see the Known issue on that page — so this switch has no working consumer as of this writing even when supplied correctly.
