--topic_file FILENAME

Description

Path to a topic file (e.g. Mallet's .keys/composition output) to build a topic lexicon table from, via --add_topiclex_from_topicfile.

Argument and Default Value

A file path. Default: ''.

Details

Required together with --topic_lexicon (used here as the new lexicon table name to create, not an existing one to read) and --topic_lex_method — the code checks if not args.topicfile or not args.topiclexicon or not args.topiclexmethod: <skip> before calling FeatureExtractor.addTopicLexFromTopicFile(topicfile, topiclexicon, topiclexmethod, lexthresh).

Note: --add_topiclex_from_topicfile (the switch that actually consumes this value) is currently broken for an unrelated reason — see the Known issue on that page — so this switch has no working consumer as of this writing even when supplied correctly.
