Description

Intended to plot a 2D histogram of a feature against an outcome, alongside --scatterplot.

Argument and Default Value

No argument.

Details

Not actually a usable flag. --hist2d's add_argument() registration is commented out in dlatkInterface.py (dead code) — you cannot pass --hist2d on the command line at all; argparse will reject it as unrecognized. It's referenced live as args.hist2d inside --scatterplot's code, which is exactly why that switch always crashes with AttributeError: 'Namespace' object has no attribute 'hist2d' — see the Known issue on that page.

Other Switches

Required Switches:

• None — this flag cannot be passed on the command line at all.

Not usable — --hist2d is not a registered command-line flag.
